CHIMNEY REQUIREMENTS: An adequate chimney is required for the Sedore Stove or any modern wood burner to operate correctly. The chimney provides the "pull" which allows our unique combustion system to work in an efficient manner. A good chimney is as important as having a good stove. You will need to hire a licensed contractor to install your chimney and stove. We are happy to talk to you and your contractor to ensure proper installation of the chimney and stove.

Chimney Guidelines:
  1. Chimney must be a minimum of 15 feet above the stove.
  2. Chimney must have as few bends as possible. We recommend using a Straight Up Stovepipe, with Class A insulation.
  3. For best results, most of the chimney pipe should be inside the house.
  4. The Sedore Stove uses a 6 inch flue collar, which can be connected to a chimney of 6 inches or larger. Very large chimneys should be relined with 6 inch stainless steel liner.
CUSTOM FEATURES: We offer a variety of custom features to enhance your Sedore Stove.

COLORS: The standard color for a Sedore Stove is Black. We also offer the following custom colors:

A. Parchment B. Andover White C. Satin Black D. Antique Ruby E. Hanover Red F. Raleigh Blue G. Sapphire Blue H. Midnight Brown I. Hunter Green

WINDOWS: Just like a kitchen oven, the Sedore Stove runs more efficiently with the lid closed. Add a window to take the guesswork out of checking on the stove and for that warm glow only a fire can provide. You have the option of putting the window on the left, right or both sides of the stove.

DOMESTIC WATER COILS: Hook the Domestic Water Coils to your hot water heater or hot water tank. We recommend that you use a plumber to properly install the water coils to your hot water system. Enjoy FREE hot water all winter!

RADIANT WATER COILS: Already have a Hydronic Radiant Heat system? Let your Sedore power it from now on! We recommend that you use your Radiant Heat contractor to connect the system to your Sedore. These coils can also be used with a boiler system.
